With a devoted global fanbase and an uncompromising artistic vision, he continues to stand as one of the leading ambassadors of reggae music today. His latest album, , "rdquo" -> Nine Mile", confirms his deep connection to the roots of reggae while pushing his sound forward with renewed energy and purpose. RISE UP Rise Up is a Reggae band hailing from various areas of the Monterey Peninsula and Bay Area, CA. Gaining a reputation for their energetic and Rootsy live performances, their sound is aptly described as , "rdquo" -> a smoky blend of roots reggae with California attitude for a style that falls closer to Bob Marley than Sublime. In other words, Genuine Reggae." (Mat Weir, Good Times Santa Cruz)
