ICEAGE FOR LOVE OF GRACE & THE HEREAFTER EU/UK TOUR 7. 2. 2027 -- MeetFactory, Prague Iceage will perform at MeetFactory in Prague on February 7, 2027. Led by Elias R?nnenfelt, the Danish post-punk band has spent nearly two decades establishing itself as one of the most distinctive names on the European alternative scene, constantly pushing the boundaries of its sound. Their new single "Star" reveals the band at its most open and melodic yet, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their evolution. Fans can look forward to hearing new material alongside selections from the five studio albums that have defined Iceage's career. TICKET PRICE: CZK 600 (PLUS BOOKING FEES) TICKETS ON SALE VIA TICKETMASTER FROM JUNE 12, 2026 AT 11:00 AM Iceage's Elias R?nnenfelt still writes from a place of grit "out amongst the dead," but today it is animated. "Star" is a total love song. Its subject awakens its singer and everything around them. It whips the scaffold sheeting; it breathes life. The song, too, is animated: a sixteenth-note jangle pulse with room for twinkling guitar, for slashy guitar, for soaring, and for tension. Out-of-nowhere handclaps arrive as an enthusiastic answer, a groovy proof. What love makes you feel like a dying star? A star's death is the catastrophic culmination. A traceless extinguishing of everything. There is no bigger event. Living inside total collapse, however, and feeling an incandescent present, is perhaps the biggest high we might feel. Over 18 years and 5 studio albums, each an evolutionary jump and a new vein of playing, Iceage have worked inside the idea of collapse. It is a way of playing, singing and songwriting---almost falling apart and pulling together on time. A tumbling through life in song, catching it as it goes.
