Accessibilité

Accessible seating is configured with a 1 to 1 arrangement in the Orchestra and Mezzanine Levels. Companions will have a seat provided to them beside the wheelchair. Additional companion seats may be purchased in sections nearby. The concourse area is completely accessible with entry from the main entrance doors. Elevator access available from the main lobby to the mezzanine level and the upper balcony. Wheelchair accessible washrooms located on the orchestra and mezzanine levels. Accessible parking is available with valid decal and may be reserved in advance for Queen E parkade (off Cambie). With ticket info, call (604)665-3050 at least 24 hours in advance. Depending on show configuration and stage set up, some sections may not be open for all events.

Parking

Enter the parkade off Cambie Street. The parkade fills up quickly. Accessible parking is available at the Easy Park Queen Elizabeth Theatre parkade, with an accessible parking decal. Accessible parking must be reserved by phone 7-10 days in advance and is subject to availability. Easy Park QET patrons may reserve accessible parking with a dedicated phone number: 604.706.1257. There is also an open air parking lot on Cambie Sttreet or the Vancouver Public Library: Underground lot between West Georgia and Robson Street; entrance off Hamilton Street.

Places PMR

Accessible seating is available on the Orchestra and Mezzanine levels, one companion seat adjacent may be booked. There is an elevator from the main level to the Mezzanine and Balcony Levels. Hearing assist units are available at the Coat Check. Vancouver Civic Theatres requires that all audience members, including children, must have a ticket. There are no exemptions to this policy regardless of the child's age. If you bring young children to a performance, please be respectful of other patrons by encouraging them to observe proper theatre etiquette such as sitting still and not talking during the performance. If children become restless during the performance, you may be asked to take them into the lobby. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by another patron 16 years of age or older.
