Short version: EncoreTrail uses no advertising cookies. Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica set analytics cookies from your first visit; you can turn them off at any time, and the site works exactly the same without them.
What we store in your browser
- Language suggestion: if you dismiss the banner that suggests your language, your browser's local storage remembers that choice so we do not ask again. It never leaves your device.
- Analytics choice: whether you closed the analytics notice or turned analytics off is kept in your browser’s local storage so the notice does not appear again.
Cookies set by Cloudflare
Our security and delivery provider Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance to tell people from malicious bots. They do not track you across sites and expire within minutes to hours. Because they are essential for security, they do not require consent.
Analytics and advertising
From your first page view, Google Analytics 4 sets _ga (tells visitors apart, 14 months) and _ga_<ID> (keeps the visit’s session state, 14 months). We use no advertising cookies. If you click “Turn off analytics” in the notice, or later via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, Google Analytics measurement stops (Google Consent Mode is set to “denied”); cookies already set remain until they expire unless you delete them in your browser.
From your first page view, Yandex Metrica (YANDEX LLC, Russia) also sets _ym_uid (identifies your browser, 1 year), _ym_d (date of your first visit, 1 year) and _ym_isad (checks for an ad blocker, 2 days), and stores some data in your browser’s local storage. Session recording (Webvisor) is switched off, so the _ym_visorc cookie is not used. If you turn off analytics, Yandex Metrica is no longer loaded on later pages and visits.
Ticket sellers and other sites
When you follow a link to a ticket seller or another website, that site may set its own cookies, including affiliate cookies that tell the seller you came from EncoreTrail. Their cookie policies apply there.
Managing cookies
You can delete cookies and local storage or block them in your browser settings at any time. The site works without them.
