1. Collect
Events enter EncoreTrail from official ticketing sources. We use the facts people need to plan: name, date, local start time, venue, city, performers, status, price range and ticket links.
2. Clean
We remove listings that are not events (parking passes, upgrades, gift cards), merge duplicates of the same show across sellers, and map every event to a consistent city, venue, artist and category.
3. Publish
Each event gets one permanent page. City, venue, artist and category pages are only promoted to search engines when they have enough upcoming events to be genuinely useful.
4. Refresh
Events in the next few days are re-checked every hour; the full calendar is refreshed daily. Changes in date, time, status or price are reflected automatically, and moved events keep working links.
5. Retire
Cancelled events are labelled clearly. Finished events leave our listings straight away and their pages point you to the artist's or venue's next dates.
What we never do
- Invent prices, times or details that a source did not provide.
- Let commissions influence which events are listed or how they are ranked.
- Copy promotional articles — page text is written from the facts of each listing.
