Ben Folds, the multi-platinum selling American singer songwriter, is coming to Dublin on his Paper Airplane Request Tour. Fans can expect a two fold performance. In the first half of the show, he'll feature his hit songs from a predetermind set list, and after an intermission, will mix in requests from the audience's favourit Ben Fold's songs thrown on stage via paper airplane. At a certain time during the show's second half, he'll cue the audience on when to launch their paper airplane requests. Prepare your own paper airplane in advance requesting your favourite Ben Fold's song or make one at the venue using the available pen and paper.

About Ben Folds

Benjamin Scott Folds is an American singer-songwriter. After playing in several small independent bands from the late 1980s through the early '90s, Folds came to prominence as the frontman and pianist of the alternative rock trio Ben Folds Five from 1993 to 2000, their first reunion from 2011 to 2013, and since 2026. He has also collaborated with musicians such as Regina Spektor, "Weird Al" Yankovic and yMusic, and undertaken experimental songwriting projects with actor William Shatner and authors such as Nick Hornby and Neil Gaiman. Folds was the artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. from 2017 until 2025.

The Helix has parking for 850 cars. The car park is located on the Collins Avenue side of the DCU campus. The car park has an underground walkway to take you directly to the front door. Access to the campus by car is by the Collins Avenue entrance.
