About Mammoth

Mammoth is an American rock band formed and fronted by Wolfgang Van Halen. The band name is a reference to one of the early names of Van Halen, in which he played from 2007 until 2020, alongside his father Eddie and uncle Alex. Wolfgang formed Mammoth initially as a solo project while he was still a part of Van Halen, but it became his full-time band after their disbandment in 2020 as a result of Eddie's death. To date, the band has released three albums: Mammoth WVH (2021), Mammoth II (2023), and The End (2025).

The three venues in The Academy are fully wheelchair accessible, with an elevator installed to look after any patron who requests it. All ages shows are usually over 14’s only, however for some shows an adult may be allowed to accompany under 14’s. No alcohol is served at all ages shows.
