Rocket 88 & The Rockettes invite you to an evening where the past and the present meet through music. The evening begins with a tribute to the roots of the blues---the music that laid the foundation for the band's journey. With passion and infectious energy, Rocket 88 & The Rockettes transport the audience to Chicago blues clubs and the American South through timeless blues classics, performed with the spirit and feeling that have made the band a favorite both in Sweden and abroad. After the intermission, a new chapter begins. The second half of the concert focuses on the band's original songs. Here, you will hear music developed in recent years---inspired by the blues but with a distinctive style where rock, soul, and Americana converge in stories about life, dreams, and experiences. It is music with the same soul as always, yet with a voice of its own. "A Night of Blues and Originals" is more than just a concert; it is a journey through the history of Rocket 88 & The Rockettes---from their roots to the future, from classic blues gems to the band's own stories. Welcome to an evening filled with musical joy, great grooves, and music from the heart. Performance time: approx. 8:00 PM -- 10:00 PM
