18 + // Show at 8pm Scattrbrain is the full-band alter ego of Atlanta-based artist GRIP, the acclaimed rapper andsongwriter known for his gritty lyricism, sharp social commentary and raw emotional depth. Afteremerging from Atlanta's hip-hop underground and signing with Eminem's Shady Records, GRIPcreated Scattrbrain as a new outlet for experimentation, rebellion and reinvention. Createdalongside Grouplove bassist Daniel Gleason, producer/engineer T.J. Elias and a cast of Atlantacollaborators, the project draws from post-punk, grunge, hardcore and DIY influences whilekeeping GRIP's singular storytelling at its core. The debut album,Scattrbrain & The UnwaveringSelf Doubt, is a cinematic, cathartic exploration of burnout, identity, addiction, industrydisillusionment and self-doubt. It's not rap with guitars---it's rage with purpose, built for chaosand catharsis.
