Afterward, Keith Blackmore of Vancouver Film School will lead a discussion on silent-era special effects with a special guest. Three of Charlie Chaplin s most beloved shorts showcase his gift for physical comedy and comic mischief. The Champion follows an unlikely boxer who relies on clever tricks to survive in the ring, while The Adventurer sees Chaplin as an escaped convict attempting to blend into high society while staying one step ahead of the police.
