About Sydney Cricket Ground
The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is a stadium located in the Sydney suburb of Moore Park. It is primarily used for Australian rules football and cricket as the home ground of the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL), the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League (BBL) and the New South Wales cricket team in the Sheffield Shield. It also frequently hosts the Australian national cricket team. Over the 20th century the SCG was the primary venue for both rugby union and rugby league. The stadium is managed by Venues NSW.
