About West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium

Beaver Stadium is a college football stadium on the campus of Pennsylvania State University in Penn State University Park. It has been home to the Penn State Nittany Lions football of the Big Ten Conference since 1960, though some parts of the stadium date back to 1909. It was also the site of university commencements until 1984. The stadium, as well as its predecessors, is named after James A. Beaver (1837–1914), a governor of Pennsylvania (1887–91), president of the university's board of trustees, and native of nearby Millerstown. The stadium is part of College Township and has a University Park address.

Two additional gates are offered for convenience: just North of Gate B is an ADA entrance gate that is adjacent to the ADA Customer Assistance area; just West of Gate A is a canopy entrance adjacent to the elevator access to the Main Concourse, the Club Level, and the South Upper Deck. ADA Gates open 2 hours before kickoff. ADA Accessible restrooms are available on field level in the South end zone and under the North, East and West stands. In addition, all restrooms on the concourse level, club level, and South upper deck are ADA accessible. Family restrooms are located at field level on the North, East, and West Sides, on the main concourse and South upper concourse. Specially constructed areas to accommodate wheelchair spectators with season and individual game tickets are located in the South end zone (lower, club level and upper deck level), East and West sides and at field level in the North end. Contact the Athletic Customer Relations Center at 1-800-NITTANY (1-800-648-8269) for details about and access to ADA seating.
Rules: Bag Policy:Backpacks, bags, and purses are not permitted in West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. One clear one-gallon plastic bag per person will be permitted for items required for medical and/or child care needs. All items are subject to inspection. Please refer to the prohibited items list. Any items left unattended at the gates will be discarded and unrecoverable. Stadium Re-EntryL Re-entry is prohibited.
Children: In accordance with Big Ten rules, all persons, including children of any age, must have a ticket for admission to West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium.
